3. In a clear voice say the command. For example:
䡲 To access Help, say, “Help.”
䡲 To access your Calendar, say, “Start Calendar.”
䡲 To access your music, say, “Start Windows Media

4. After Voice Command finishes speaking, a microphone icon appears at the top of your
screen; say your answer. (For example, say, “General” to access general Help topics.)
Using Voice Command to Make Calls
You can call contacts and dial numbers with voice commands.
Say:
䢇 “Call <Contact>” to call a contact whose phone number is stored on your device.
䢇 “Call <Contact> at/on <Location>” to call a contact at a specific phone number.
䢇 “Dial <Number>” to dial a phone number.
䢇 “Callback” to return the last call received.
䢇 “Redial” to repeat the last call made.
Examples:
䢇 “Call Karen Archer.”
䢇 “Call Karen Archer on mobile.”
䢇 “Call City, Light, and Power.”
䢇 “Dial 555-0100.”
䢇 “Dial 1-800-555-0100.”
䢇 “Dial +46 555 1212 555.”
䢇 “Dial 411.”
Tip
You can interrupt during a question by pressing the Voice Command
button. As soon as the
microphone icon is visible you may say your answer.
