Editing connections
The following example shows you how to edit the IR to PC/handheld connection
to adjust the communication speed; you can similarly edit other connections or
settings or create a custom connection.
To edit the IR to PC/handheld connection:
1. From the Communications Preferences list, select Connection.
2. Select the IR to PC/handheld connection.
3. Tap Edit.
4. Tap Details.
5. Tap the Speed pick list, and then select the appropriate speed.
6. Tap OK.
7. Tap OK again to save the configuration.
Network Preferences
You can use the software that is included in the handheld operating system to
connect with Internet service providers (ISPs) or dial-in (remote access) servers,
using a mobile phone or optional modem accessory. Your mobile phone must be
equipped with an IR port. You also need an ISP account or corporate remote access
account and a mobile phone carrier account that supports dial-up connections, or
a mobile phone carrier account with high-speed wireless data network services.
