CHAPTER 5 Moving Info Between Your Handheld and Your Computer
Using Quick Install and the Send To Handheld droplet
Use Quick Install (Windows) or the Send To Handheld droplet (Mac) to install applications on your
handheld.
Using Quick Install
WINDOWS ONLY
0
1 Open your Palm Desktop software and click the Quick Install icon.
2 Copy the application:
a. You can choose which handheld will receive the
items by selecting the username in the User drop-
down box in the upper-right corner.
b. Drag and drop the application onto the Quick Install
window. Which window you choose determines
whether the application is installed on your
handheld or on an expansion card (if present).
3 Synchronize to install the file to your handheld.
